For those of you who have worked with clients who have brought in another party somewhere in the middle or toward the end of the process – what’s your policy on third-party review of your work? Is that a deal breaker or are you fine with it? Why or why not?
Thoughts?
It’s in the contract — I work with ONE point person and ONE point person only. Dilution of the process = additional cost.
I learned that one the hard way.
Never been in this kinda pickle before. Talk about stressful. eww
Angie, Devon and I have been in these situations way too often. I ask the question for the benefit of new people to the industry. I already know the answer. No third parties! :))
My single experience with late-in-the-deal third party review ended in litigation, so I have a pretty nasty opinion of it. But . . . I guess it would really depend on the circumstances (and no, I don’t know what those are!).
