My business cards are woefully out of date. I didn&#039;t have any conference to attend this year, so it was a moot point having new ones. But tweeting? Honey, I have to stop myself or I&#039;d be there constantly!]]></description>

My superpower is building strong relationships. Most of my clients are what I&#039;d call friends. Some I worked with before I went freelance, but others I&#039;ve developed really great relationships with. One, for example, lives about 10 minutes from me. We&#039;ve not connected outside of business, but she emailed me last week and asked if I&#039;d like to meet up at the dog beach to just catch up. I consider that a wonderful compliment.

My other superpower is always, always meeting a deadline. Always. That&#039;s another reason my clients refer me.

On the website, I know you&#039;ve said you believe it&#039;s necessary, but I&#039;ve had my own business since 2005 and never had a website. I don&#039;t work LinkedIn. I don&#039;t discuss my business on my FB page. I have a Twitter account after someone told me I needed one. And I don&#039;t think I&#039;ve tweeted more than once. I don&#039;t even have business cards. I know, that&#039;s nutty, right?

But it&#039;s worked for me.]]></description>
