					<description><![CDATA[This is something I try to do fairly regularly. Usually it&#039;s talking about dogs or cooking or some other common interest I have with a client. (Yes, one client was interested in knitting!)

But lately, I&#039;ve asked how they&#039;re adapting to working from home, and letting them know they can ask me for tips if they&#039;re having trouble focusing at work while at home. Over the weekend, one editor emailed saying she and her husband are thinking of breaking out their old sewing machine to make some masks. That&#039;s on my to-do list, too. 

It&#039;s basic compassion and humanity. Staying connected in a difficult time is always good. It also proves you care about the clients as fellow human beings, but merely a path to a pay check.]]></description>
