I've been there, including several times in December. As much as I love the holidays some years you just can't muster the energy to deal with them. The only comfort may be being surrounded by family and being able to be there for your mom – as I expect your kids will be for you as you tend to your parents' changing needs. I hope all goes as well as can be expected. You're all in my prayers.

Now, so what's this about Scrabble? I'm getting tired of beating the computer's butt every day, but haven't wanted to play against strangers, either. Maybe for 2016 we can arrange a Scrabble group. That would be something to look forward to.
