Jenn, yes. Mount Misery. It's my test of how well my exercise program is going. If I can scale it without stopping, I'm doing pretty well.

And thanks for the tip on the B&B. I couldn't remember the name and I nearly called you, but I knew we'd find something somewhere.

Thanks, Anne. I'm glad to have had it!

What fun (and exhaustion)! :) I'm glad you were able to take some time away.

Which mountain do you usually climb near home? I'm assuming it's one of the hills in VF. Mt. Misery? I used to go there all the time. The hill trail by the covered bridge would probably kill me now given how long it's been.

And how rude of those people at the B&B. There's only one we go to, and thankfully it's always quiet. Blissfully so. If you're ever out in Bethlehem you should give it a shot (Sayre mansion). We stay in the library suite -- so peace, quiet, and books! :)

If the weather corporates, next weekend will involve tons of back breaking yard work. Ugh. But if you don't get the weed trees when they're small, you're stuck with them when they're actual trees.

Great idea for picking up extra work, Cathy. Those in the healthcare specialty could make hay while others are sitting idle.

Paula, I'm just glad to hear you did something other than write over the weekend. :) Try to relax this holiday!

Happy belated birthday, Lori!

Let's see, my weekend....I did one load of laundry, vaccumed, and made hummus. That's really pretty much it unless you count phone calls, one drop-in visitor (very short visit), and regretting not turning the window AC on Saturday and dodging severe storms. While it sounds relaxing, I feel annoyed with myself for not accomplishing at least a little something.

Darn that Scandinavian work ethic!

How did I not know it was your birthday. Birthdays and snakes. Hmm...not my idea of celebration but that's what makes the world go round. ;-) Happy belated, Lori (at least I assume it's belated).

I was into trimming trees this weekend. Our trees in front had branches hanging so low, they would brush the car as we pulled out of the garage.

Next, was bagging all the branches and the runaway walnuts and cherries (from a branch from the back yard that broke off during a rainstorm).

Topped that off by hauling hoses around the acre of land to water as much as possible before the 90+ degree weather hits mid-week.

For summer months, I usually remind companies about Open Enrollment for benefits that start in the fall for big companies. Its a huge undertaking so extra help is often welcomed.

For U.S. buddies, have a great 4th of July holiday. So nice of it to fall on a Friday. ;-)
