LOL! Nikki, after the drive I had this weekend, I'm scheduling a nap this afternoon. Ten hours driving, four hours at a football game in the pouring rain....yep. nap is calling. :)

Did someone say nap? That's my favorite way to recharge when my head's not where it should be.

This week my marketing includes some updates SEO wise to my site and searching out the job boards. I should include some email marketing but I'm really awful at coming up with the verbiage to use when pitching my services.

I'm marketing today, but my head's not in it. Days when I feel awash like this I have to step away and just reset. I have a client who needs edits, but not today, amen.

A dislike of idleness - something else we share along with our mutual fondness for lists.

I've gotten much better at marketing even when juggling multiple projects. A few weeks ago, while facing something like five major deadlines in one week, I followed up on a couple old LOIs. The assignment resulting from one of those follow ups hit print today.

Right now I'm working on three projects (in addition to the usual column) and it's feeling a bit slow. That means more marketing is on tap this week.
