Rather than focus on a to-do list, I look at the already done one. It makes me feel like I've accomplished things when the other list seems to long.

I already do pretty well at letting things go, but I know a lot of people who could use a Do Not Think About It list. Like the neighbor who harbors a 20 year grudge against another incredibly nice neighbor for minor and most likely unintended slights. Or the friend who creates extra anxiety for herself by obsessing over inconsequential things. There's not enough time to waste energy on things that have already happened or on things you can't fix anyway.
