Today I'll write a short article (one of those where it will take longer to edit down than write) and buy groceries.

We're in for a chilly weekend, but the annual boiler check & cleaning isn't scheduled until next Wednesday and I try not to turn it on until it's been services...so I'll make soup and bake something wonderful this weekend. I'll also warm up by running up & downstairs a few times to bring the Halloween decorations up. I also need to document the next phase of the pink sock monkey project so I can get that on the blog by Monday. And vacuum! I gave my dog a bath yesterday, so there is dog hair everywhere waiting to be vacuumed up.

We only have a few more weeks left where the city will collect & compost our yard waste, so I need to get some yard work done.

I'm back to taking Fridays "Off"- meaning I don't work with clients (directly). Instead my day is filled with umpteen administrative tasks like filing, reorganizing my desk (which is seriously a job in itself) and eliminating all the piles of papers surrounding my desk.

More home improvement projects this weekend. I think it's stopped being fun for my husband now (sarcasm). I plan to plant the dried up mums I thought were dead. The gardening center lady assures me I didn't kill them (as my neighbor across the street claimed), and instructed me to plant them in the ground promising that they'll bloom again every year during the fall season (fingers crossed).
