I had a relaxing weekend for the most part, which is good because this week is going to be very busy. I have articles to write, parties to attend, a doc appointment and dinner with a family friend who is coming from out of town. Mostly fun stuff, just more hectic than I'd like all in one week!

Sorry to hear about your hubby's troubles. I hope he feels better very soon!

I'll remember the citric acid tip in case anyone I know develops kidney stones!

I just scanned some clips requested by an editor who replied to a recent LOI. Next I need to write a couple more executive bios, get some invoices in order and start a new article. Then I'll write a column.

Oh - I also need to choose siding and trim colors. Only problem? I don't love any of them. The greens are too gray, and everything else is a variant on gray, tan or off-white. What happened to color?

Sorry to hear about your husband, Lori (BTW-did NOT know citric acid would break it up!). Hope he feels better soon.

Cathy, I hope your eye gets better; be patient as it heals (I know, easier said than done).

Sounds like a lovely weekend, Lori (except for hubby's health issue-not fun).

I'm loving the fall weather and the changing of the leaves. I took pictures of the trees on one of my walks this weekend so look for them at the personal blog.

My vision remains the same-blurry in right eye. I am trying not to obsess over it and let healing take its course.

Hope you all have a good, productive week.

Congrats on all the good stuff, and hope your husband feels better soon.

Roller coaster weekend, but great stuff inspired by the Coursera work I'm doing -- it's going to pay off in all kinds of ways all down the line.

Disappointed by the students, though. The lack of commitment and ability to meet deadlines is unacceptable.
