Paula, if you've never had it, either you've never come in contact or you're not allergic. Hope for the latter.

Anne, it's just as bad. Same idea -- uncontrollable itch that lasts a few weeks. Spreading and fever in the worst cases.

I did nothing but have coffee with girlfriends on Saturday morning and read… just veged… water what needed to be watered and did nothing… Didn't even leave the house Sunday. Felt wonderful!

I assume poison ivy is at least as bad as poison oak… no fun at all.

Sorry about the poison ivy, Lori. I've got hyper sensitive skin, so I'm always afraid I might come into contact with it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what it looks like. I've Google Imaged it, but each photo looks different!

While it was hot, the humidity stayed away so DoggieLily and I stayed fairly comfortable. Saturday I knocked out a column and blog post. Sunday I went with friends to choose some plants for their garden and window boxes, then later another friend stopped by briefly.

Sunday night - with a nice breeze and as many windows open as possible - I did my fingernails ("Tokyo Pearl") and went wild with my toenails. All while watching The Tony Awards, The Killing and Mad Men. Then I had ice cream.

Go for it, Devon! I've had to amend a "no posse" clause for a corporate client, but I did limit how many are to be involved. Unless I'm paid per-hour, no way I'm letting that dog run wild!

Busy, but I tried to stay away from work. I've got to put together a ghostwriting quote this morning, and make sure there's a "no possee clause" in it.
