Lori, when it comes to the neighborhood ruckus, I'm just glad my neighbors aren't apathetic or afraid to call the police. With an increasing number of foreclosed homes being bought up by "investors" who turn them into cheap rentals, it's nice to know the long-time renters and property owners around here have each others' backs. (Yeah, I hate that phrase too, but it really seems to apply here.

Glad you had such a great day. Yesterday sucked, and I was kind of blue today, but then a check arrived and I'm headed out for a video shoot, so it's all good.

See, Lori? It's a Birthweek. Your actual birthday is just the start.

I'm sluggish because there were six police cars and a police van out front half the night. (New neighbor was drunk & disorderly and resisting arrest - I saw that part. Lord knows what other charges he racked up. He was already out on bail this morning. Jerk.)

It's supposed to surpass 100 degrees today, so I want to get as much work done early as I can, but I have a phone interview at 4:45. Such is freelance life.

I've been querying and sending some LOIs. This month the queries seem to have paid off better than the LOIs. Four of five ideas were assigned!
