Get better soon! I'm battling a bad head cold. It feels as if I get rid of one thing, then catch another. The germs are everywhere in the school. Otherwise, the weekend was uneventful, which is good because we're heading to Washington next weekend for a hockey tournament. The end is in sight and I have enjoyed it immensely, but it is time for a break.

Paula, misplaced anger. He didn't MAKE the drug - he's merely selling it. They don't make everyone ill. I'm sure lots of people take this one without the same miserable results I'm having.

I hope you're 100% soon, Lori.

My brother works for a major pharmaceutical company. For a long time, one of his core products was a powerful antibiotic - one of the ones known to cause extreme stomach upset. One Christmas Eve he decided not to go to a big Christmas party some friends of the family host each year. Their grown daughter had flown home for the holidays, but wasn't at the party. She had bronchitis and was resting in the other room, but the antibiotics were upsetting her stomach. Another guest said he'd just had bronchitis,too, and had a bad reaction to an antibiotic. The daughter soon stumbled out to say hi. They commiserated long enough to discover they were on the same antibiotic....and it was the one my brother repped. Our friend looked at my sister and me through her fever-glazed eyes and said, "Your brother is so luck he's not here. I'd kill him."

My weekend was unproductive. Spent most of Saturday on the phone with my sister, who was dealing with a small emergency. Sunday I pretended to work but got next to nothing done. I wish I had, since I have 6 articles to work on this week.

I had a good weekend. Rested most of Saturday puttering at home. On Sunday I helped paint my bedroom, looked for a new gas cooker and replaced our electric stove with it.

A heck of a lot better than yours, Lori. I am so sorry you are feeling so lousy. Please focus on getting better.

Th weather was gorgeous and supposed to hit mid-60s today so I am stoked about that. The week appears mellow-enough work, but not insane.
