As for my weekend, I spent most of it with my siblings,their families and a couple of our friends.
This week I'm getting ready to launch a children's book and reviewing a book manuscript for a client project.

It was unusual for me because I can't remember the last time I'd watched the Oscars. I seldom see first run movies, so it really doesn't interest me.

Last night I was drawn to it mostly to see if Community's "Dean Pelton" would win for screenplay adaptation. He did! (And immediately parodied Angelina Jolie's odd stance.)

The local whole foods market lets customers make requests on the bulletin board. One of them read "Is it completely against your sensibilities to stock Advil? Sometimes the stuff just works better."

They did respond that they focus mainly on holistic stuff, but it was a great question! LOL

I couldn't, Paula. I'm so tired of the hype and the obvious political nature of the show. I used to love it, but they lost me the year Johnny Depp was snubbed for Best Actor for one of the Pirates incarnations. If that didn't deserve an award based on actual creativity and presentation, then I clearly don't understand how these people vote.

I will say my favorite movie did win Best Actor, Best Picture, etc.

My weekend was odd. Saturday I didn't clean or play catch-up on chores (unless you count one load of laundry).

Sunday I surprised myself by watching the Academy Awards - minus the hour I switched over to The Walking Dead.

The weekend was challenging, but ultimately good. My HEX BREAKER first round edits are done and to the editor. I'm caught up with classes, in spite of some glitches there. I've got other manuscripts and some freelance work to whip into shape. A colleague is opening a door to a great new opportunity for me, and now I have to be at my best -- landing it will make my life much easier moving forward.

Busy week with client meetings and classes, and starting to implement the new business plan. Will have some questions for the 365 interview to you in a couple of days.
