Thanksgiving is eating and hockey for the Finnegan family. Stuff myself Thursday, so I'm ready to watch my son play hockey all weekend. It's a tournament, so I'm excited to watch him play against teams from outside of our region. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I just emailed a project to a client a few minutes ago, so that feels good. Depending on when he gets back to me with feedback, I'll probably do any edits over the weekend or the first of next week.

Because our families are half a continent away, we'll be celebrating with friends on Thursday. They have also invited two servicemen to join the feast, so I'm looking forward to talking with them too.

Got some good news over the weekend, too: I passed my comprehensive exam to complete my MA! All that's left is a few things for my last class; I need to turn in that research paper that I've already finished and take the final exam. Life is good. I have a lot to be thankful for on Thursday!

Funny how everything comes up around the holidays, Devon. Same here. I have lots to clear up before I can continue preparing for the holiday. I hope to actually enjoy it, but that remains to be seen. :)

Paula, that's a lot of diets to cover. Glad to hear you have help in figuring it out! If they all pitch in, it should be good.

Our Thanksgiving will be at my brother's house. We have three who don't eat meat (I'm one of two of who also don't eat poultry), one who can't eat gluten, one who's lactose intolerant (and from the Dairy State, poor thing!), two adults who loathe vegetables, and two kids - one will try anything, the other is a picky eater. The funny thing is we will all be stuffed by the end of the day since we all try to offer options whenever possible.

I don't have any official deadlines or interviews to do this week, so my schedules is flexible. I plan to transcribe today and try to get an article out (and invoiced) tomorrow. One of my articles involves catching up on a lot of TV shows I don't normally watch, so I'll get some knitting and crocheting done, too.

I'm also working on a surprise for my brother's birthday (which is slightly less than a month away) that involves digging though family archives.

I've got requested submissions to fulfill, work on other manuscripts, and I have to start thinking about how to replace some lost income.

Also have to cook most of tomorrow.

Once I clear off some things hanging over me, I can enjoy the holiday!
