An opossum waddling across the street late at night, entering a driveway, than taking the sidewalk up the hill: A creature of nature who won't walk on the grass.

Or the guy who was checking out a foreclosed house down the street yesterday. He was driving a brand new car that costs three times the asking price for the foreclosure, yet a neighbor was shocked to overhear him say this is a "crappy" neighborhood. To him, sure. Why? It's a working class neighborhood. (Of course, the apparent "investor" saw the for sale sign at her duplex and told her she should be "afraid" to live around here – no doubt hoping to scare her into lowering her price.)

If they were able to do that in the first place, they wouldn't be there. If they had the skill and the motivation, they wouldn't be there. Your time and energy is better spent elsewhere.

Your only in America had me thinking back to a post I did on strange things that included a You know you're not in California anymore when… It was about a commercial playing here in Idaho where if you come in today and buy a truck, we'll give you a free gun-and we'll throw in a free Trucker's cap. I am not kidding.

I commented that the last thing they wanted to do in California was give drivers more guns! Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms!
