As someone from the other side of the political spectrum, I'll just say that it is possible to simultaneously disagree with Obama about his economic policies *and* dislike the birthers for their foolishness. I'll shut up now.

IMO, obfuscation of real issues is merely a bonus to the "birthers'" real agenda.
