It's been almost 2 years I think for me. Yikes. Working on losing weight, so I really should work that hike back in. Maybe in 2-3 weeks when I get my knees prepared for the climb again I'll go back for a weekly walk. If you ever want to join me, just let me know! If not, always up for coffee. What would life be like without it? 🙂

The only bad part was they'd filled their Friday delivery schedule just before I bought it, and for some reason they don't deliver on Mondays. Tuesday can't get here fast enough!

Wolfgang Books, Jenn. :) And it's been at least six months since I've walked Mount Misery. Like you, I think I'll crash halfway up. But you know what keeps me going? The mountain laurel will be blooming in late May/early June. At the top. I have to see that.

You let me know when you're ready for lunch and I'm there. Hey, even tea/coffee at Steel City.

Actually love downtown Pville. I love hitting the farmer's market on Saturday for my John and Kira's when they're there, passing up one of the pubs or breweries this weekend where I was supposed to see my cousins' band b/c I have boring things to do instead, and there's the most adorable little second floor bookshop down there (can't remember what it's called though — or if it's even still there!).

One of these days I'll do that. At one point I remember coming across an odd number of freelancers on Twitter who were from around this area (Pottstown here, but used to be a Pville girl). If I ever remember who they all were, we should get them together for a lunch or something.

What I really need to do is get down a few more lbs so my poor knees can get back to tackling Mt. Misery over at the park. It's been ages, and I doubt I could even do that initial climb anymore. Gorgeous area though.

Well, Lori, they must have seen "Writer" tattooed on my forehead and thought, "This sucker will wait months to be paid for work instead of getting paid in advance or upon completion. Waiting a few days for an appliance should be easy!"

Paula, isn't it ridiculous that they promise same-day delivery but always find some reason why today won't work? I think it's absurd that you have to wait five days for a refrigerator. Just try that with a furnace in winter!

I celebrated by buying that refrigerator. Gorgeous stainless fridge with a bottom-freezer drawer. On sale. Manufacturer List price? $1,799. My price? $1,078. Maybe my dad had a little Irish in him after all!

You know… I pass Molly Maguire's all the time when I'm in Phoenixville (most friends and family moved around there), and I never think to stop in. Tried once but they were so packed we ended up leaving. I'll have to try again one of these days.
