I explained that was not possible, but I might be able to let her see her quotes first. She then proceeded to bash a major publication for misquoting her (not knowing I write for them, too!). Then she began bashing the editor of the publication I was on assignment for! Again, saying how terribly she'd been misquoted. Knowing how thorough these editors are, and hearing first hand how she babbled on with little if any thought to what she was actually saying, it seemed clear she probably wasn't misquoted as much as she was shocked to see her yammering in print.

I'm so going to try to do the article without using any of her comments.
