I'm with Jennifer. I can sleep anywhere, anytime. For a LONG time. :o)

It's not as great as it sounds, though. I find it really difficult to get out of bed, and my half-asleep mind usually doesn't make the best decisions in that regard. (In fact, all this talk of sleep is making me want to get back in bed...)

Jen, I envy you. I used to be able to do that, but it's more like the aging princess and the pea these days. I can't sleep on a GOOD mattress let alone the one I have. I need more exercise, less caffeine, and a good sleeping pill.

Gabriella, if I took one of those pre-flight, I'd never sleep anyway and I'd be exhausted for the next two days. I'm spoiled by my own pillow, too. :)

I fell asleep on a Amsterdam to Barcelona flight after a 10-hour layover in Amsterdam. Woke myself up with the loudest snore I've ever heard and was grateful that no one on the noisy plane seemed to notice!

I can't sleep on planes, either. But I've had success taking a Unisom right before the flight attendants serve dinner. I eat dinner and am out until the flight lands.
