How sad is it when you actually recognize some of the lines?

I particularly loved the video store one: "We can do this! This isn't a challenge! Think of it as an opportunity."

This ought to be required viewing for certain clients.

Saying "No" with grace: I love it when the clerk at the video store flashes his dimples and says, "That one's $19.99."

Just a thought: This may be easier to do when you work for someone else, though the hairdresser certainly understands he's being cheated.

puts the idea of feeling guilty or like we shouldn't charge "so much" or enough or whatever into perspective doesn't it.
