I came here via RJ Medak; it's a welcome antidote to job listing offering 3.50 for 500 words (all-original of course), and acting as if they're being really generous...

I think that U.S. culture at least is still very stuck on things that can be measured and judged. A lot of writing just doesn't work in a linear cause-and-effect fashion.

Thanks for this occasion and resource, sorry I missed the actual day but I intend to use this whenever I see those ads.
