I didn't set any goals for January, but the month is usually slow for me too. I was faked out by a really good first week though, so I was a bit disappointed when it turned out to be the same as every other year! I blogged about it here:

oh boy- blog got me thinking… It’s kinda funny: I met teh goals I subconsciously set for January. And the ones I did set, well, they crashed and burned and are in the works for February. Wish me well 🙂

Pitching was decent; didn’t market as aggressively as I should have.

I had a lot of fiction/playwrighting deadlines and those were met.

I’m actually happier with what got done this month than I’ve been for a long time. And I was offered some wonderful unexpected opportunities, which I grabbed.

January writing goals went well. Although I didn’t finish revising the ms as planned, I achieved everything else I’d set down to do. Particularly happy with the two poem acceptances. 🙂

I met my monthly goal at work, and then some.

I fell a bit behind on my personal goals – that is writing that I’m not yet getting paid for, but I did land a weekly position at another blog. Which wasn’t a goal, but will be a good thing.
