Yesterday was a complete wash. I was feverish, achy, and I couldn’t sit upright for any length of time. When that happens, I put up the “away” message and listen to the body. The doctor tossed one more antibiotic into the mix, and within two doses things were beginning to clear up. Today, mostly rest….

Monday, Monday….
Head on over to John Soare’s Productive Writers blog for his interview with me and a review of my e-book, Marketing 365. Thanks, John! You’re one of my absolute favorites, too. 🙂 For once, I’m rather glad the weekend is over. I spent much of yesterday fighting off an excruciating headache. It’s amazing how closely…
With a Little Help From My Friends
Today is going to be nutso busy. I got an call from a friend in crisis, who needs backup on a project ASAP, plus I have a meeting that will take up most of the day (and one I’m looking forward to in order to escape the madness). I feel like I’m earning a vacation…
Agreeable Disagreements
Yesterday was a wad of busy wrapped inside a shell of chaos. I got plenty accomplished, but there’s plenty more awaiting. I’m busy working on an emergency project today, plus I’m fighting off an infection that may require a doctor’s visit. I have no time for that, so it may wait until tomorrow. I’ve been…
Things I Love About Freelancing
Happy Valentine’s Day! You’re all my valentines this year. No better people in the world to share a virtual hug with. I finished a large article project, one that seemed to be getting longer instead of shorter as I wrote. I started on two others, and I got some marketing in before heading over to…
Friday Fun and Frolick
Let’s just say I’ve worked myself sick this week (and have the nasal congestion to prove it), so I think today’s a good day to slow it down a little. I have some projects to complete, but I’m waiting on a few return calls, so things are stalled until that happens. I fully intend to…
Lace Up the Running Shoes
Some weekends just outshine others, don’t they? This past weekend was as good as they get. It started a little later on Friday – I was busy answering a distant relative’s ancestry request, which I love, but took some time. I was a little toasted thanks to a lot of creative work and computer time…

Slower, Steadier…
My guest post is still up over at Peter Bowerman’s Well-Fed Writer blog. Give Peter some comment love, please. FYI – For those interested in a fantastic group coaching experience – Peter Bowerman has just a few spaces left in his February group, starting February 8. It’s a great way for you to get Peter’s…
Settling In
I get to stay home. Finally. Last week proved to be the roughest re-entry into work ever. I got off the plane at 8:30 pm Wednesday, was sitting here fighting off the two-hour time difference Thursday morning while writing a client article and arranging interviews for other projects, then was tied up in client meetings…
